1. Open Alimama (alimama.com) / Taobao Union and log in with a Taobao account.
2. Fill in the required information and complete verification to activate the account; the official notice says identity is confirmed via the real-name verification of the Alipay account linked to Taobao.
3. Official notice: each real identity can register only one Taobao Union account; a new account takes about one hour to become effective, and promotion before then doesn't count.
4. Register your promotion resources (channels, media, communities) under the Alimama promoter rules.
5. Pick products in the Taobao Union dashboard or app, get links/Taobao codes, and promote in registered channels.
6. Follow the Alimama rules center on absolute claims under advertising law, false advertising and prohibited traffic.
7. Official agreement: estimated income is not final income; Alimama's settlement data prevails.
8. Official agreement: fees for the previous calendar month are normally paid on the 20th; if the 20th is a rest day or holiday, payment moves to the nearest earlier working day.
9. Overpaid income caused by buyer refunds must be returned; taxes are your responsibility and the platform withholds as required.
10. Consequences of violations (official agreement): unsettled income, revoked permissions, termination, and possible Alipay payment holds.
11. Inactive accounts may be terminated; withdraw your balance before you stop promoting.
